When to go: November – March, April – May is “shoulders” season and is also dry, warm and pleasant. June- September is the rainy season.
Immigration and Visas: You do not need a visa to visit for up to 60 days. Always verify the latest requirements three months before leaving to make sure nothing has changed.
Accessibility Information: Thailand is generally not considered very handicapped accessible, with limited wheelchair accessibility in most places. Some tour operators offer accessible tours, and some high-end hotels are accessible. Some attractions have wheelchair access, including the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, and Lumphini Park in Bangkok. Language: Thai
Etiquette: Do not speak ill of the King or Buddhism, don’t touch anyone on the head, do not raise your voice or act aggressively. Use your right hand for interactions, as the left hand is considered unclean. Do not point, no public displays of affection. Dress appropriately for temples.
Electrical Adapters: Type A, B, C, F and O. Most common is type B.
