When to go: Spring (September to November) and autumn (March to May), December to March is high season and can be crowded.
Immigration and Visas: You will need to apply for a New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority (NZeTA) to enter New Zealand. Always verify the latest requirements three months before leaving to make sure nothing has changed.

Etiquette: Politeness and respect are important. Do not brag and be humble. Be on time, clean up after yourself. Casual apparel is the norm, be respectful of the environment. Remove your shoes when visiting someone’s home and bring a small gift. Shaking hands is fine when meeting someone.
