When to go: May and Fall (September – October) if you want to avoid the crowds. High season is June – August.
Immigration and Visas: You will need a European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) to travel to Italy starting in mid-2025. Always verify the latest requirements three months before leaving to make sure nothing has changed.

Etiquette: Greet people and shake hands when meeting. Be on time, be respectful of other’s privacy, don’t jaywalk, don’t wear your hair wet in public. Eat all food on your plate if possible, leave knife and fork crossed on your plate if you are not finished eating. Use recycling containers.
