When to go: Spring (April –May) and Fall (September – October) if you want to avoid the crowds. High season is June – August.

Immigration and Visas: You will need a European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) to travel to Italy starting in mid-2025. Always verify the latest requirements three months before leaving to make sure nothing has changed.
