Language: Hindi with some English in larger cities
Etiquette: Wear modest clothing, avoid public affection, the right hand is for eating food, the left is considered unclean; the “namaste” is a greeting where by you put both hands together and slightly bow. No shoes inside, don’t point at people. Be polite and treat elders with respect. Show patience and no anger in public.
