When to go: December – March is dry and pleasant but sometimes hot. It is also high season. April, May, September, October are “shoulders” season and less crowded.
Immigration and Visas: You must have a visa to visit Brazil. E-Visa is available and preferred. Always verify the latest requirements three months before leaving to make sure nothing has changed.
Accessibility Information: Brazil is becoming more accessible. Rio and a few other larger cities will have accessibility at major hotels, sights and some transportation. Language: Portuguese
Etiquette: Greet people, make constant eye contact and shake hands when meeting. Dress respectfully and modestly. Wash hands before a meal and wait until everyone is served before eating. Lateness is not uncommon.

Transportation: Buses are popular. Taxis and Metros in large cities. Domestic flights available.
Tipping Info: A service charge added to your bill is common, otherwise10% or more for good service. Tour guides 10-20%.
