When to go: November – April is the dry season, May- October is the wet season.

Immigration and Visas: Visitors need a visa to visit Cambodia. Obtain an E  Visa or apply at the major airport. Tourist visas are good for 30 days. Always verify the latest requirements three months before leaving to make sure nothing has changed.

Language: Khymer

Etiquette: Wear modest clothing, no public displays of affection, remove shoes before entering a temple, don’t point your fingers or your toes at someone, use a quiet voice. Cambodians greet each other with a prayer-like gesture called Som Pas, you should return it if someone uses this greeting gesture. Don’t give to beggars, don’t discuss politics.
