Etiquette: Respect elders, the right hand is for eating food, the left is considered unclean; handshake when meeting someone or a slight bow, women will need to extend their hand first. Use honorifics in introductions. Being late is not uncommon. Modest dress, shoes left outside temples or homes, Avoid political or other sensitive subjects, don’t point.
