When to go: May, June and September are the best months to visit if you want to avoid the crowds. High season is July – August.
Immigration and Visas: No visa is needed for the Republic of Ireland. Always verify the latest requirements three months before leaving to make sure nothing has changed.
Accessibility Information: Major tourist areas, newer hotels, and most larger cities are accessible. Rural areas, some historical sites and older areas parts of cities may have cobbled streets and uncut curbs, etc. Accessibility outside major cities may be difficult due to historical areas and lack of infrastructure. Etiquette: Be polite, modest, respectful and considerate. Relaxed conversation and avoid mention of “the Troubles”. Order drinks at the bar and be aware of “rounds” of drinks that you may need to purchase if you have one bought by another.
